In case you wonder, moso bamboo is the material used to produce our cotton ear buds. Luckily, moso bamboo is growing extremely fast. Additionally, koalas usually consume eucalyptus leaves but not moso bamboo leaves. The Ningbo region, in the south of Shanghai has ideal cultivating conditions for this sweet grass. Thankfully, due to warm and damp local climate, the bamboo in Hydrophil’s forest in this region flourishes. It means, this bamboo reaches a height of around 20 metres in only 2 years.
