What is Hog Nosh ?
Hog Nosh is the larvae of the Black Soldier Fly commonly referred to as BSF ,and sometimes branded as ‘Calci Worms’
Hog Nosh is oven roasted, and contains no chemicals or preservatives, cheaper brands are imported from the Far East and are sterilised in an industrial microwave
Due to the more natural process of drying in the oven Hog Nosh is jam packed with all the proteins, fat, minerals and amino acids hedgehogs love
Hog Nosh is 100% natural with no chemicals used at any stage of the process, larvae (grubs) are part of hedgehogs natural diet ,you are providing an alternative source not an unnatural substitute
What makes Hog Nosh so special ?
Hedgehogs are chiefly insectivores, often travelling a mile or more by night in search of food, by feeding them with Hog Nosh you are supplementing their natural diet.
