The Tillandsia Multiflora is a species that is very similar to the Tillandsia Abdita and therefore just as colorful. The green, sometimes somewhat reddish leaves are smoother and less soft. At a later stage, the Multiflora can turn completely red (Tillandsia multiflora red) and in the flowering phase this air plant produces one or more purple flowers from the heart.
Originally, the Tillandsia Multiflora is mainly found in dry forests in Central America and Mexico.
