The Caput medusae is a beautiful air plant with twisted, velvety leaves. It’s slightly more robust than the Pruinosa, which makes it an excellent choice for those who are new to tillandsias.
AIR PLANT CARE
Almost all air plants prefer bright, indirect light. Full sun will cause browning of the leaf tips. Air plants absorb water through the hairs on their leaves (trichromes). Spray them at least twice a week with water. When indoor humidity is very low, you can also soak your plants for a few hours. Always make sure the plant has fully dried before returning it to its home to avoid leaf rot.
MEASUREMENTS
Sizes may vary slightly, but are approximately: 15 x 3 cm
All our air plants are grown with the greatest care in the Netherlands where they adjust to the local climate. This makes them well-adapted to the indoor environment.
