The Tillandsia Argentea has hardly any roots and often grows on rocks or trees. This air plant has a fairly loose growth method with the spritelike leaves in all directions. This Air plant can give purple flowers from the spike (the center) of the plant.
The Tillandsia Argentea originally grows in arid regions in Mexico, Guatemala, Cuba and Jamaica. This Air Plant grows on its own as well as in clusters with others of its kind and has very thin leaves.
