Recycled Horn Heart Necklace

This eco-friendly handmade horn heart necklace is made from natural discarded and recycled bull horn crafted by Peruvian artisans.We designed together with the artisan based on his talent, technique, tradition, and tools experience. After boiled and melted, each unique piece has been hand cut, molded and polished to bring out the natural horn color and texture in a brilliant finish. Every piece is unique, one of kind due to the shade and color mix of the horn.Size: 2″Production: Preparing to work the bull horn is arduous. This piece took approximately 2 days by a single family workshop to complete. All production was done in the suburban of Lima region of Peru.Carbon Footprint: The production and transportation of this piece resulted in 9 pounds of CO2 emission, roughly equivalent to driving 10 miles in a car.
