One of the least-understood aspects of plants is how they gorge away on what they eat. That’s all taken care of by the roots, right?
Wrong! Leaves are just, if not, even more, important than the roots.
Plants use their leaves for a lot more photosynthesis, naturally, they absorb a lot of their vital nutrients through pores. Some of these are found on root systems, but typically the vast majority are found on the leaves and certain nutrients can only be absorbed through these pores.
So keep your plant leaves clean!
