This 7 1/2″ tall object is a fine reproduction of an 11th century Ife piece. There is a male figure “wrapped around a vessel positioned on the circular platform of a stool. The figure holds the looped handle of the stool with its left hand and a scepter in its right.” The original is made of zinc brass and measures 4 7/8″ tall and is the property of the National Commission for Museums and Monuments in Nigeria.
