This wall hanging tapestry is a reproduction of a 16th century medieval Flemish wall hanging tapestry Falcon Hunt. It depicts a hunting scene, which shows a medieval technique of hunting with falcons. Here we see the nobility on horseback in the countryside, not far from the castle in the background, practicing this ancient sport. We see the elaborate and stylized medieval robes that the courtiers are wearing including their headgear as they trek through the countryside.
