Can I find silver ‘blank’ rings on CREOATE?
We do have plain silver and sterling silver rings on CREOATE, but these are finished products that are ready to be sold to the end customer, rather than blank ones to be used in jewellery making.
How many wholesale rings do I need to order at once?
Each seller sets their own minimum order quantity for each of their products (the minimum amount you can order at once), as well as their overall minimum order value (the minimum amount you need to spend on products from that seller in order to complete your order). That might sound complicated, but don’t worry — we’ll let you know if you're short of anything before you finalise your order. Minimum order values start at just £75, so are very manageable for small independent retailers.
What’s a good margin when reselling rings?
A good margin looks different to every business; an ecommerce jewellery store has a different business model and operating costs to a brick and mortar boutique or gift shop, for example. But as a general guide when shopping wholesale rings, we’d say a margin of around 45-55% is about right.
How can I prevent rings from tarnishing before I sell them?
There are several things you can try, including keeping most of your rings in boxes and storing them with chalk or silica gel packets. If you don’t have jewellery boxes, try keeping them in ziploc bags to reduce exposure to outside air, and always separate them by metal, too.
